Life Coaching identifies an individual’s strengths and weaknesses, and supports an individual in achieving a goal. Life coaching creates the plan and structure required so that the individual may retune perceptions or overcome obstacles.

- Highlights untapped opportunities
- Provides motivational support
- Keeps the client on track
- Provides unbiased third party brainstorming
A Life Coach may also support individuals with business issues, executive decisions, leadership training, and health & wellbeing.
When you think “What is a life coach?”, your best best is to remember -> building for the future.
4 Elements of Life Coaching
At AWE Education, Life Coaching is designed to support our clients in building inspired, fulfilling lives.
Our customized Life Coaching programs deliver on 4 common elements:
- Growth: Supporting a client to build a dream, expanding on the ideas they’ve already seeded in their lives.
- Curiosity: Encouraging a client to mindfully explore their perceptions, beliefs and experience in the world.
- Expansion: Introducing alternative perspectives that offer new opportunities and methods for achieving a goal.
- Compassionate Inquiry: Providing the safe, attuned presence that is required to understand patterns and how to build new pathways to success.
How Does Life Coaching Differ from Therapy?
Life Coaching is an action-oriented path that invites the client to set goals and create actionable plans for change. The Life Coach collaborates with the client by inviting introspecting, providing tools for personal growth, and supporting the client as they take small steps toward a goal.
Therapy provides a diagnosis for an issue and a plan to restore health. A Therapist helps the patient to understand how emotional and psychological workings contribute to behavioural patterns that create obstacles in their lives.
Life Coaching and Therapy are similar in that they both invite an inspection of emotions. However, the Coach is not offering licensed advice on treatment. They are offering support in making change.
What Is “Transformational Life Coaching”?
Transformational Life Coaching relies on a variety of methods to help you reach your life goals. The coaching process delivers an integrative, depth-oriented approach to explore the connection between mind, body, and consciousness.
With the guidance of the Transformational Life Coach, each client learns about their sensory experience as it relates to emotions and beliefs.
